I've had a really good experience with this so far (have been with the service for about a month). The initial information-gathering was detailed, and they found a tutor (Barry) who was a perfect match for my child. Most of the communication has been directly with the tutor, while Alchemy handles the billing and online meeting platform. They have given me contact info for a support person at the company in case I have any issues, but I haven't needed to use it. Everything is going really smoothly. I wasn't sure about online tutoring at first (my child is 11) but actually it is going great, and maybe holds my child's interest better than an in-person meeting would partly because of the seamless use of short videos to help reinforce concepts and explanations. Barry is kind and experienced and puts careful thought into lesson plans. He also said that he was a lot like my child when he was a kid, and I think my kid found that really inspiring, haha.

We’ve been so happy with our tutor, Minh. We really wanted face to face tuition for our children rather than online lessons, and Alchemy has made the whole process easy and convenient. We originally engaged Alchemy Tuition just for short-term NAPLAN prep. From the start, Alchemy made finding the right tutor incredibly easy. They were highly proactive and detailed in understanding my daughter’s unique requirements and personality, matching us with the perfect tutor within just a few hours.That perfect match was Selena. She is a brilliant student and a phenomenal educator who sparks genuine curiosity in her students. My daughter loved her English and Math sessions so much that we decided to continue long-term and have even added Science!The classes are so engaging that my daughter genuinely looks forward to them and proactively reschedules if a conflict arises because she refuses to miss a session. Selena has truly transitioned from an outstanding tutor into a trusted friend and mentor. I can’t believe it’s been two years and we’re only just getting around to leaving this review!My child was tutored through Alchemy Tuition by Saransh, and we are still so grateful for the impact he had. He was knowledgeable, polite, patient, and always communicated clearly whenever there were any schedule changes.At the time, my daughter had very low confidence in her maths skills. After just under four months of online tutoring, something truly “clicked” for her. It was like a switch flipped — she became confident, started enjoying maths, and is now excelling in the subject. The transformation in both her ability and mindset was amazing to see.We recently reflected on how well she’s doing now, and it reminded us that Saransh played such a big part in building that foundation. I’ve found alchemy to be very responsive and totally professional. This is not the first tutoring group I’ve tried and they are streaks ahead of the other one. Eashan was a brilliant and great tutor who helped me with not only solidifying known topics in Chemistry, but also explaining and demonstrating unfamiliar or difficult to grasp concepts. His tutoring style was not only helpful but also engaging, which was present in every session. Eashan really went above what was anticipated and ensured that ever single concept and topic were thoroughly understood and practiced before moving on the next, even revisiting those topics again in future sessions to further ensure that the concept understood from all aspects. His HSC style criteria and feedback for questions made it much easier to understand what markers what looking for regarding various style of questions and the best methods to go about answering them. His efforts have truly made a huge impact towards my final year of high school and my performance towards the HSC examination.

Faith has been an incredible support for my daughter throughout her HSC year, tutoring her in Advanced English, Legal Studies, and Modern History. One of the best maths tutorials my daughter has had so far. No up front payment. No cancellation and no change. I can speak to someone too. On the phone or by text and they listen. Honestly A great in person experience. I have been impressed with the ease and functionality of Alchemy Tuition (AT). As well as the effectiveness. I have been using AT for several years and they have always matched my children up well with tutors. My children have been using one tutor in particular for a few years now and they not only really enjoy their sessions, their grades have improved dramatically. The overall user experience as a parent for resources, communication or payments is straightforward and seamless and AT is always quick at responding from a number of different ways.

Very professional and great with communication. Was easy to set up my first appointment with a Tutor, took less than an hour for a tutor to be chosen for my son. His tutor, Charles, is very well prepared, is helpful in breaking down maths problems and encouraging with the way to go forward in maths. Payment is made after each session and is easy to set up. Worth every cent and love the way the company makes me feel like I am an important client. Do yourself a favour and give Alchemy Tuition a go, I did and was the best thing for my son.

I chanced upon Alchemy tuitions during my research for a English Tutor for my Son.Our Son was paired with Marcus Santilli for English and he was a God send.English is not our first language and our Son struggled to get good grades in School. Marcus understood his needs and tailored his tutoring to suit his learning style , he would constantly follow up , share study plans , teach him to be better organized ,would review his completed work and provide very constructive feedback / tangible observations . Our boy has grown in confidence and gotten to like English all thanks to Marcus's efforts , focus and his excellent teaching style . Marcus would be available for Noah despite him being on holidays or weekends , Thank you for that .He comes highly recommended. My child just started having tutoring with Alchemy Tuition. We opted for the online one of one private tuition so that the tutoring is catered towards my child's need. 3 lessons in and I can already see the improvement. The tutor that was assigned to me is on point, very professional and the session is been jampacked with tips and quality teaching. I think what sets Alchemy Tuition apart from a conventional tuition centre is that it is targeted and more efficient. Instead of a class setting of a few students in a prolonged hour session that covers all subjects / area of a particular subject, Alchemy Tuition matched my requirement (for example my child only needs help with English writing) with a suitable and experienced English teacher who could help him in that area. So no wasting of time waiting on other students or covering areas where my child doesn't need help with. Another great thing about Alchemy is that the first lesson in a free trial so you get to 'sample' the teacher and decide if he or she is suitable before committing to the ongoing lessons. Even so, there is no strict commitment or upfront payment for the lessons, it is pay as you go, you get charged after each lessons (so you don't pay for a month or a term in advance) and all you need is a 2 weeks notice to terminate future lessons. You will also get a comprehensive review after each sessions as a parent. So in the comfort of my own home, my child is getting quality one on one tutoring and I get to listen in if I want to. Couldn't ask for more. I highly recommend Alchemy Tuition to anyone.

My daughter in year 9 was struggling with Maths. She has always been good at maths but felt she was falling behind this year. Since starting with Alchemy her knowledge and confidence has increased amazingly fast. We are only 3 weeks in and she’s feeling the effects already. My first attempt at finding a tutor for my daughter was a nightmare for various reasons,but then I found ALCHEMY a Godsend literally.I found the website so simple to use,very user friendly.They sent you emails every step of the way ,you had contact with the tutor to be able to schedule/reschedule sessions which i thought was amazing and even making the first payment was simplified with a link.Our Tutor Nicole made contac with us before the first session to enquire about my daughters need which I thought was a great touch.After each session tutor feedback was given which I think really helps to understand where your child is at in their learning.Lastly the convenience of studying from home online and all that easily done via zoom link made it even more appealing.I'm totally greatful to have found ALCHEMY and I highly recommend them.

We tried one of the other big tutoring companies and it fell way short of expectations. It was impossible to actually talk to anyone and the tutors changed weekly so there was no consistency. Choose Alchemy!

As a new Alchemy Tutor it has been really rewarding working for a company focused so much on supporting student needs instead of just focusing on academics. I must admit in the beginning it was quite difficult to originally navigate through the new system. I would just like to thank Sarah (the live chat helper) for always answering my many questions in a very friendly and quick manor. It definitely assisted my integration into the company!

Our experience with Nashita has been exceptional. I'm a tutor with Alchemy for a couple months now. Live chat helper Sarah was very helpful and prompt in giving directions on my issues of late cancellation with my student. Their live chat feature is very good support system for Alchemy tutors.

Alchem are a great and super easy to use tutoring service, which provides real value for money. My daughter needed a tutor for maths in her HSC and we were assigned Taylor, who was outstanding and also went above and beyond to ensure additional lessons in the lead up to exams!! He gave her such a sense of confidence going into write her final exam today! Highly recommend both Alchemy and Taylor!!

Harry has really improved my performance and understanding of maths in my class. I am in SEAL and maths is very difficult (we are learning year 9 while I am in year 7) but Harry has taught me methods and tricks which have helped him to get better marks.

A lot of thought goes into matching the best tutor for your child. Great tutor, approachable patient and my son is starting to achieve and enhance his literacy and numeracy. I hear them having a laugh too so it’s great knowing they’re enjoying the sessions.

Last year, I enrolled my son to a tutoring school as he was aspiring to study in a selective school. After a month, that school told me that my son won't make it to selective school since there is only a year left for him to prepare. So, I went and look for other tutoring service and stumble on Alchemy. They assigned Natalie to us. I like their approach as they focus on my son's weaknesses rather than just handing him out random worksheets. Today, my son had an offer for a selective school with just 9 months of tutoring with Alchemy. Natalie was very helpful and patient in helping my son. I can't thank her enough. Definitely, recommending Alchemy for your tutoring needs.

Alchemy tuition has turned the comprehension of math, for both my teenagers, into meaningful language & skills that they’re adopting rapidly and using more in many unexpected areas of their learning journey.They solidly work with the current curriculum set by the school and prepare them to problem solve their way through daunting exams.I thoroughly endorse this tutoring business.
